Attention Deficit Designer (freebie!)

Before I get around to explaining today's title, run! Hurry! The Faith Sisters Blog Train is almost over! If you haven't snagged those minis, you'd better get them tonight because tomorrow they go to the store!

Next up, shameless personal plugging. LOL I have two new paper packs, a set of photo masks, and a CU overlay set new in the store the week. The overlays are designed with different amounts of grunge and dingyness so you can adjust the destruction factor on your papers. You can even layer two or more for different effects. Check them all out here:

And I need to do a little PDW plugging. You have to see this week's new releases. They're all awesome. Here's a sample of what I've done with some of their work:

New Beginnings kit by Kris Myers (wordart by TLC Designs)

Stormy Weather by Julie.Itis

Sassy Pants by Southern Creek Designs

Now, as I was saying, or at least I think I was, I am the Attention Deficit Designer. I have a folder full of odds and ends that either I made something and then never came up with anything to go with it, or changed the direction I was going with the kit, or hit creative block and never got back to it. Tonight's freebie comes from a cowboy kit I was working on and never could come up with the elements I wanted to finish it. So here are 4 word arts, and maybe this will jumpstart my creativity so you can have a kit to go with them soon.

Check back soon, as I really need to clean out my odds and ends folder, and who knows what I might give away. Until next time, be blessed!

Blog Train Time! (freebie and links to lots more!)

It's time again for the Faith Sisters Quarterly Blog Train! At each stop you will get a free mini kit (or more, as you see some of us got a little carried away) and then at the last stop, (the store blog) you get a set of QP's made with all the minis. The QP album is HUGE!

Here is mine~

Sorry! Times up, and this one has gone to the store. But check it out there, you can still get the collab free with a minimum purchase.

No, I didn't forget (freebie!)

For some reason, when I try to put the new stuff in the store at FS, it won't let me attach the download files to the store items, and so far we haven't been able to figure out why. Needless to say, that really derails an NSD sale! But I do have a kit for you that was supposed to be free in my shop for NSD weekend here, and previews of some of the upcoming new products. Whenever we get it straightened out, I'll run a post-NSD sale to make it up to you.

Here is your freebie:

Sorry, this link has expired. Look for this item in my store!

...and what I did with it.

Thanks for checking in, and have a blessed day!

Last Chance, New Freebie, NSD Countdown, and Shameless CT Pandering (Freebie!!)

If you haven't snagged the It's For the Birds Blog Train Collab yet, you only have a few more hours. The links come down tonight and tomorrow it goes on sale in the store.

Because.....tomorrow is the kickoff of the NSD Weekend! I know everyone is having sales and special events this weekend, but here are the ones I won't miss.

If I can get this FTP figured out, I will have new kits and paper packs in the store this weekend, and they will (hopefully LOL) be on sale! I'm also giving out a coupon for your next purchase for any $5 purchase in my store, and there will be freebies on my blog! And, the first 10 people who make a LO with one of my kits, upload it into my designer gallery at FaithSisters, and PM me will get a special RAK from me. (Should there be another term for that? It's not exactly random if I'm bribing you to do it....)

Moving right along, yes, I'm still CTing, I love my designers, and I have to show you some of their stuff and what I did with it. This first one, I know there aren't many components to the page, but I chunked and re-did this one about 4 times to get exactly the effect I wanted, and I think it turned out pretty cool.

This is made with Jude's January Kit which is actually a New Year's Kit! I know that New Year's and football naturally go together, but this just shows you how you can get a lot of mileage out of "theme" kits.

Julie.Itis has two new kits, and I can't decide which one I like better.

Pssst - you didn't hear this from me, but her everything in her store is going to be on sale for $2 this weekend!

And Lisa at Southern Creek Designs (the best Ninja you could ever work for) has a ton of new kits out. Here are two LOs I've done with her new stuff.

Tune in again tomorrow for more CT plugging and previews of my new items. If you're still with me, you deserve a freebie. LOL So here is a paperpack to coordinate with the DSO Color Challenge.

download DSOApr09.zip

Now I have to get back to the attempts to load the new kits, so have a blessed day, and see ya tomorrow!

Blog Train (freebie!!!)

It's been such a crazy month with a lot of personal stuff going on, but the big news is, I am now officially a designer at Faith Sisters!.

We're kicking off the countdown to NSD in a big way, with a huge blog train of free coordinated minikits, which will give you a mega ginormous kit when you're done. The links all go up today, April 27, and will be taken down on the 30th, so don't wait to pick these up!

Here is my part,(click on the preview to see it better) the link is below, and the rest of the train is below that.

Sorry, now you have to go to the Faith Sisters store to get it!
