Last Chance, New Freebie, NSD Countdown, and Shameless CT Pandering (Freebie!!)

If you haven't snagged the It's For the Birds Blog Train Collab yet, you only have a few more hours. The links come down tonight and tomorrow it goes on sale in the store.

Because.....tomorrow is the kickoff of the NSD Weekend! I know everyone is having sales and special events this weekend, but here are the ones I won't miss.

If I can get this FTP figured out, I will have new kits and paper packs in the store this weekend, and they will (hopefully LOL) be on sale! I'm also giving out a coupon for your next purchase for any $5 purchase in my store, and there will be freebies on my blog! And, the first 10 people who make a LO with one of my kits, upload it into my designer gallery at FaithSisters, and PM me will get a special RAK from me. (Should there be another term for that? It's not exactly random if I'm bribing you to do it....)

Moving right along, yes, I'm still CTing, I love my designers, and I have to show you some of their stuff and what I did with it. This first one, I know there aren't many components to the page, but I chunked and re-did this one about 4 times to get exactly the effect I wanted, and I think it turned out pretty cool.

This is made with Jude's January Kit which is actually a New Year's Kit! I know that New Year's and football naturally go together, but this just shows you how you can get a lot of mileage out of "theme" kits.

Julie.Itis has two new kits, and I can't decide which one I like better.

Pssst - you didn't hear this from me, but her everything in her store is going to be on sale for $2 this weekend!

And Lisa at Southern Creek Designs (the best Ninja you could ever work for) has a ton of new kits out. Here are two LOs I've done with her new stuff.

Tune in again tomorrow for more CT plugging and previews of my new items. If you're still with me, you deserve a freebie. LOL So here is a paperpack to coordinate with the DSO Color Challenge.

Now I have to get back to the attempts to load the new kits, so have a blessed day, and see ya tomorrow!

Blog Train (freebie!!!)

It's been such a crazy month with a lot of personal stuff going on, but the big news is, I am now officially a designer at Faith Sisters!.

We're kicking off the countdown to NSD in a big way, with a huge blog train of free coordinated minikits, which will give you a mega ginormous kit when you're done. The links all go up today, April 27, and will be taken down on the 30th, so don't wait to pick these up!

Here is my part,(click on the preview to see it better) the link is below, and the rest of the train is below that.

LAST STOP! http://www.faithsisters.com

Don't forget!

Be blessed and see you again soon!

Stevie

I got your message and I want to talk to you, but when I was trying to move it into another folder I accidentally deleted it. If you see this, please email me yayyayfan@yahoo.com

Finally! (freebie!)

Clearwire came out last night to see why I'm having such a hard time staying connecting to the internet suddenly. It turns out they had moved the tower I receive my signal from. The tech told me that I should be able to get better signal than ever before if I just move my modem (which would mean moving the computer with it, since the cord on the modem is only about 8 feet long) and put it in either the window above my DD's bed, or the window above my kitchen sink. For some reason, he just didn't understand why those weren't really options for me. If I have the computer in my room, the living room, or the dining room, I will continue to get very little signal most of the time. So now I have to figure out what to do about internet service.

But the good (?!?!) news is that I should get fantastic signal where my computer is now from about 5am to 9am daily. So I was finally able to get the element add on for Showers 'n Flowers uploaded, and here it is.

There's a bracket mat, a tree, a fence, a flower pot, more grass, a couple buttons, a couple bows, a couple butterflies, a couple bugs, 14 things in all.

Well, we're off to deliver one family member to dialysis and another to hyperbaric, so have a blessed day!

The internet hates me.

Well, here we go again. I've spent hours trying to upload to 4shared, and it's not working. So I gave up and tried to load it at Digital Candy, but my internet keeps losing signal. I will keep trying.

But on a positive note, we (the children's group from our church and a handful of parents) went to see Power Unlimited this evening. If they're going to be in your area, you HAVE to go. They're body builders and ministers who present a positive, non-denominational message about self-worth, staying drug free, and the gospel, mixed with loud music and cool stuff like breaking concrete blocks, bending metal pipes, ripping (full!) soda cans in half, breaking baseball bats, and rolling up metal frying pans. Needless to say, the kids loved it. You can find them here:
Power Unlimited

Wish me luck on getting these elements uploaded and have a blessed (what's left of it) evening!

No, I didn't forget. (Freebie!)

Yes, I promised a paper pack add on for Showers 'n Flowers, but 4Shared was not being my friend yesterday. I tried to upload it six times, but each time it would get partly done and then stop. So I've gotten it loaded at DC, but I will still try to upload it at 4Shared just so I can keep all of the kit together. Here is the preview, and the link is below.

download fspaperaddon.zip

I will still get the elements add-on posted later today. Thanks again to everyone who's voted, left comments and downloaded from the contest at Faith Sisters. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here is the link:
http://www.faithsisters.com/photopost/showgallery.php/cat/6664

I had a couple people ask me about voting. It's really easy, you just have to register for the gallery, (which is pretty quick and painless, and they won't spam you or anything) be signed in, and then a link will pop up under each photo for you to vote. You only get to vote for one.

Have a blessed day and I'll be back in a little while!

More stuff for you! Freebies!

Thank you so much to everyone who's commented, voted, and downloaded the Showers ' Flowers kit from Faith Sisters. In case you missed what's goin on, I'm in a design competition, which you can read about in the previous post. There are (at last count) 22 minikits/kits available for download through the site, all coordinating colors, so you can end up with one incredible mega kit.

Here is my entry. You can download it (and hopefully vote for me...Please?)
here

And as promised, today I have for you the paper pack for the DSO Color Challenge.

download dsomar09.zip

As soon as I can get the file uploading to cooperate, I will be back on here to post a pack of additional papers to match Showers 'n Flowers. And be sure to come back tomorrow for the additional elements pack (another ribbon butterfly, more flowers, trees, and a picket fence like the one in my siggy) and Thursday I'll have a word art pack for you. I told you I loved these colors!

Until then, count your blessings!
