Merry Christmas (& a freebie!)
Just a reminder, the For Unto Us charity kit is still available at PDW. Not only is it a great cause, but it's absolutely an amazing kit. You won't know where to start scrapping with it because there are soooo many possibilities.
You can continue to read about Crew and his family here http://crewsjourney.blogspot.com/. He's doing great, been transferred back to a hospital closer to home, but still has a very long road ahead. This blog is such an inspiration to me, seeing how much this family has been through, and how their faith has remained strong through it all.
So, here is the freebie add on I promised nearly a month ago. (Bad blogger! or is that Bad designer? LOL) It is a word art set taken from the Christmas story in the second chapter of Luke. There are three versions of Glory, gold, silver, and greyscale, and four versions of Christ the Lord.
If you need any more encouragement, Check this out. Here are LO's with this gorgeous kit, which can be used not only for Christmas, but also heritage and everyday scrapping.
If you're still with me, check back soon, because I'm working on two other freebies for you, and I promise not to take a month this time!

THIS you have to see
For Unto Us...A Very Special Kit for this Very Special Season
100% of the Proceeds from the Sale of For Unto Us... will go to help PDW Designer Courtney Wilson's nephew Crew, and sister Megan with their medical expenses.
For Unto Us...A Charity Kit for Crew & Megan$10.00
A Note from Courtney:
We all go through rough patches in our lives. And as we go through these hardships, we lean on each other and our faith to comfort us. Tragedy has recently befallen one of our own. Megan, the master behind the templates of Racketty Scrappety was, until recently pregnant with her third and fourth children. Nearly three weeks ago, 28 weeks pregnant, her water broke and had an emergency c-section to deliver her babies. Both of which were born without heartbeats. While the doctors were able to resuscitate one of her sons, the other, Baby Dex, didn't make it.There were a number of complications, none of which caused any of the others. As Megan learned after the fact, her water breaking was the best thing that could have happened and was what allowed Baby Crew to be born fast enough to save his life. Megan has been generous enough to allow us all to share this time with her. You can read more about this amazing Mother and Son duo at http://crewsjourney.blogspot.com/Crew, is currently in the NICU and riding the "roller coaster" that accompanies this. We, here at Plain Digital Wrapper along with a few other great designers have joined together to make this beautiful kit dedicated to Crew.Included in this kit are over 50 papers, over 150 elements, 5 alphas, $10 worth gift certificates from various designers, over 50 of the templates from Racketty Scrappety herself, and a free gift with purchase! All proceeds will go towards Crew's mounting medical costs. It is called "For Unto Us..." and embodies the true spirit of Christmas.
My heart is just breaking for this family. I've lost a child, I know that pain, but I can't imagine having to go through it with another child in NICU in such a fragile state.
Please, if you can, buy this kit to help this family. But more importantly, keep them in your prayers.

Lotsa Things to Talk About!
First off, I want to mention two great causes. Trina Clark, clip art designer extroidinairre, has been having a rough year. Her husband was diagnosed with cancer, she broke her leg, (which is still giving her trouble) and now they're in danger of losing their home. She is having a big sale on her clip art sets to raise money. ALL her sets are $2.00 or less, which is 82% off on some of them! On top of that, there is a coupon code on the home page of her site for an extra 25% off orders over $10! Check it out here: http://digiscrapkits.com/digiscraps/
Then Farrah, who creates those adorable Chubbies and lots of other too cute scrappy stuff, is putting together a charity kit to help with medical expenses for one of her CT members who has cancer. It's called Jillann's Blessing, and so far 43 designers have signed on! (including me....the first minikit I've ever shared) For info, please see Farrah's blog: http://farrahscreations.blogspot.com/
I am hosting Totally Inspired Tuesday on the Scrappy Thoughts blog tomorrow, so be sure to check that out. http://www.scrappythoughts.com/ While you're there, be sure to scrool down the blog. There are several freebies still available, plus tuts and other cool stuff. If you've never been to their site, you're missing out. The community is very friendly, they have fun challenges, and a very talented group of designers and CT!
And finally, I am now also on the CT for Plain Digital Wrapper! The new CT announcement will be coming this week sometime, and then look for LO's and more updates about their site.
I had hoped to share a couple new LO's and a couple QP's with you, but my computer crashed so I'm using my children's which is almost as old as I am and not very cooperative. LOL Hopefully mine should be fixed tomorrow and I can get them posted.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope to see you again!
